Access in and around the Arboretum is closed to all traffic because of two ongoing construction projects.

Pedestrians traveling through the immediate area should use the signed detour route that extends from the ticket booth entry at the intersection of 10th Street and Fee Lane, west along 10th Street to the sidewalk just west of the arboretum.

Travel on the sidewalk west of the arboretum will remain open and allow north-south travel.

Project work includes removal and replacement of all concrete sidewalks, upgrading outdoor lighting to LED fixtures, and upgrading the Wells Library sprinkler system. Work will continue through November 2014.

The Jesse H. and Beulah Chanley Cox Arboretum is between the Herman B Wells Library and School of Public Health-Bloomington.
